Natural Mineral Water Manufacturing Process:-

1. Underground water

The water is extract from the underground water source by pumping system and tranfer through a special designed pipe to the production department.

2. Aeration

The organic compound from the underground water source is oxidized to remove the unneccesary molecules in the water.

3. Pre-ozonation

The oxidized water is going through further oxidation to ensure the water is 100% pure from unneccesary molecules.

4. Preliminary, intermediate and membrane filtration

Filtration is to remove the suspended solid from the water. It is the micro filter process after the pre-ozonation process. The first filtration process is the preliminary filtration which break down the solid from big to small. Follow by the intermidiate and membrane filtration to further break down until they become fine solid.

5. UV sterlization

The water is then undergo UV sterlization to remove the bacterial and germs to ensure the water is safe for comsumption.

6. Filling

This is an automated process whereby the water is going to be filled into the rinsed bottle auomatically by the machine.

7. Capping

The bottles that have filled with water are now close up with caps. All the caps are washed for hygiene purpose.

8. Product coding

The product code, manufacturing date and expiry date are printed on the cap of each bottles of water for the factory's record and also customers' references.

9. Labeling

The label is being stick on the bottle through automated machine. The label contains some important information such as product name, ingredients, nutrition information, manufacturer and so on.

10. Packing

The finish products are now pack in box according to the product categories. The 230ml cup water and 600ml bottle water are packed 24 units in a box, the 1500ml bottle water is packed 12 units in a box while the 6000ml and 9500ml bottle water are packed 2 units in a box. The boxes are then sealed with tape to protect the products inside and prevent damages.

11. Palletizing

The boxes are then arrange in 11 boxes per layer on the pallet. Each pallet contains 5 layers which mean 55 boxes. The pallets are then wrapped with plastic wrap to stabilize the boxes and shift to the warehouse.

2.1.2 Spritzer Pop Manufacturing Process:-

 

1. Sugar and ingredients dissolving

Sugars, citric acid, natural flavour, sodium citrate, sodium benzoate, permitted preservative and food conditioners are dissolved as the main ingredients for carbonated flavoured drinks.

2. Pasteurization

The dissolved ingredients are heat from 70'C - 85'C to kill the bacterial and germs.

3. Cooling

The ingredients are then being cool down after the pasteurization process.

4. Mixing

The ingredients are mix with treated natural mineral water after being cool down.

5. Premix

After the mixing process, carbon dioxide gas will be added into the mixture to form the carbonated drink.

6. Filling

This is an automated process whereby the carbonated drink is going to be filled into the rinsed bottle auomatically by the machine.

Defining packaged drinking water and mineral water:-

Before identifying their differences, let us first define what is packaged drinking water and what is mineral water.Packaged drinking water is a drinking water that has been sourced out by the packaged drinking water plant from a spring water, well, or drilled water source and has gone through a distillation process. After the process, the water is packaged in either plastic or glass water bottles and then sealed to ensure it remains highly potable and safe for drinking.

Mineral water is a drinking water with minerals and other dissolved substances in it like gases, sulfur compounds, and salts. It may contain natural minerals or artificial minerals which are added to the water with the use of Drops of Balance.

Major differences between packaged drinking water and mineral water:-

Taste:-

The taste of the mineral water is distinct from that of a packaged drinking water. Because of its mineral content, mineral water has a taste that is the same as that of a fresh natural water. On the other hand, the taste of the packaged drinking water can vary according to the quality of its source, treatment method used, and natural mineral content. In most cases, though, packaged mineral water has the same taste as that of a tap water.

Filtration and treatment:-

There are various treatment methods that bottled water plants use to eliminate microbial hazards. These methods include electromagnetic radiation, purification processes like water distillation, filtration, and sedimentation, chemical processes chlorination and flocculation, and biological processes.

 

Drinking Water

 

Mineral water goes through a natural process of filtration and coagulation. It is treated with Aluminum Sulfate or other sulfate minerals. Whilst, the packaged drinking water is chemically filtered and chemically treated, most often through chlorination.

Cost:-

Packaged drinking water usually goes through a series of processes in order to completely eliminate all the contaminants from the water. This is why it is relatively more expensive as compared to the artificially treated bottled mineral water and to tap water. The ro plant cost for packaged water is also higher than that of the mineral water.

On the other end, the mineral water is more affordable than packaged drinking water regardless of whether it is naturally or artificially treated.
